Full-time Female* Civil Clerk & Dispatcher/Jailer

The Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time civil clerk. The person will be required to assist with dispatching/jailer duties from time-to-time. 

The civil clerk position will be the primary job and hours will consist of Monday-Friday 8-5. Dispatcher/jailer duties will be when shorthanded, and those hours will vary, but can include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Starting wage is $15.77 per hour, plus benefits, which can increase up $18.13 per hour following probation period and training.

An application can be obtained at the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office at 801 W. South Street, Mount Ayr. Applications must be returned to the Sheriff’s Office by 4 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019. 

*Due to Iowa Code requirements, female inmates must be supervised by female jailers.

Full time County Engineer

The Ringgold County Board of Supervisors is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Ringgold County Engineer. Position requires registration as Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa.
